Where are my car keys?
Several days ago as I left a meeting at our church, I desperately gave myself a personal TSA pat down. I was looking for my
keys. They were not in my pockets. A quick search in the meeting room revealed nothing.
Suddenly I realized, I must have left them in the car. Frantically, I headed for the parking lot. My wife, Diane, has
scolded me many times for leaving the keys in the ignition. My theory is the ignition is the best place not to lose them.
Her theory is that the car will be stolen. As I burst through the doors of the church, I came to a terrifying conclusion.
Her theory was right. The parking lot was empty.
I immediately called the police. I gave them my location, confessed that I had left my keys in the car, and that it had been
stolen. Then I made the most difficult call of all, "Honey," I stammered. I always called her "honey" in times like these.
"I left my keys in the car, and it has been stolen."
There was a period of silence. I thought the call had been dropped, but then I heard Diane's voice. "Ken," she barked, "I
dropped you off!" Now it was my time to be silent. Embarrassed, I said, "Well, come and get me."
Diane retorted, "I will, as soon as I convince this policeman I have not stolen your car!"

HaHa! Oh my goodness! Lol, thanks for sharing this most hilarious true story as I know I have had similar moments where you just have to laugh at the whole shamoley; and I wished I would have written it down for later reflection or to amuse others like you have lol. Love your site by the way, the jokes are so original and I enjoy reading your work. I came across your site when I googled the address of a spam email I received; when trying to get to the root of a recurring nuisance that seemed neverending and inescapable. I always click the "Cease email" key, but the email continues to come every day. I noticed many different spam emails had listed the same physical address, but the individual emails were all for completely different things- Some for weight loss, some for online education, some for lottery winnings etc. and on and on. I wondered, how can all these different companies have the same address? And how was my email address exposed to them originally? Do you know how this concept works my friend? Because all I can theorize is that the address listed on the array of spam is somewhat of a "mother" load headquarters for all kinds of companies, doing something for each of them perhaps, keeping them legal in some (unfortunate for me) red tape loophole. Any advice for getting to the bottom of this spam tree that has wrapped its limbs around my primary email address, choking out all the fun in email and leaving me constantly wondering how it got started and how to kill it? Just when you have time if by chance you have the answer to my query my friend, thank you in advance and God bless!
