We need your help - save Dafur

This is a great organization but they are sending out way too many emails...going to be called a spammer soon.

DEADLINE EXTENDED
Help us expose China's role in genocide in Darfur.

It's not too late! Help us reach our $400,000 goal by midnight, March 26 with a secure, tax-deductible donation. https://donate.savedarfur.org/08/china_olympics_prem/nw1MfeXdqBdL5?

We're still $173,418 away from our $400,000 goal so we've extended our deadline until midnight, March 26.

Please give today to help us shine a spotlight on China's role in the genocide before more lives are lost. https://donate.savedarfur.org/08/china_olympics_prem/nw1MfeXdqBdL5?

Conditions in Darfur are getting worse. Government-sponsored militias have stepped up the violence, killing hundreds and forcing the displacement of more than 80,000 people in 2008 alone. And the Sudanese government continues to obstruct full deployment of UN peacekeeping forces.

As one of Sudan's largest trading partners and arms suppliers, China can help stop the violence. But as genocide rages in Darfur, the Chinese government is painting itself as a responsible member of the world community in preparation for the 2008 Olympics.

Please help us expose China's role in the genocide. Click here now to make a secure, tax-deductible gift to help us reach our $400,000 goal. https://donate.savedarfur.org/08/china_olympics_prem/nw1MfeXdqBdL5?

Make your gift before March 26 and receive a copy of The Translator, the stirring memoir of Daoud Hari, a Sudanese refugee, who risked his life serving as a guide to western journalists covering the Darfur genocide.

With your support, we will be able to put even more pressure on China. Your gift will help us:

* Find and publicize hard evidence disproving the Chinese government's claims that it is powerless to end genocide in Darfur.
* Organize events urging China to help the people of Darfur, including a major rally on April 9 when the official torch of the Beijing Olympics passes through San Francisco.
* Continue to pressure the White House, Congress, and world leaders asking them to urge China to act now.

It's up to all of us to let China know that its support of the Sudanese government must stop. Click here to take advantage of the extended deadline and contribute to this vital campaign. https://donate.savedarfur.org/08/china_olympics_prem/nw1MfeXdqBdL5?
With a gift of $50 or more, receive a copy of The Translator.

Thank you for your generous support. Together, we can help build a future of peace and hope for the people of Darfur.

Best regards,

Colleen Connors
